Sotto questo grigio cielo,
vanità vanifica il fuoco che hai dentro,
rotola il silenzio sul tuo dispotico consenso

e gridi “dimmi il tuo nome se non l’hai perso!”

Io rispondo ” il mio nome è RISPETTO!”

RISPETTO
e non è un regalo, l’ho strappato al vento
e poi cresciuto e curato come un bimbo
e tu vuoi rubarlo al mio destino
sotto questo grigio cielo.

Sotto questo grigio cielo,
vanità vanifica il fuoco che hai dentro,
rotola il silenzio sul tuo dispotico consenso
e bisogno assoluto di incollare tue parole al mio buon senso.
No grazie.

No grazie,
rimango solo rimango in silenzio,
mi avvolgo nella giacca ed esco al freddo,
sotto questo cielo poco è il tempo per gridare al vento.

Sotto questo grigio cielo,
vanità vanifica il fuoco che hai dentro,
rotola il silenzio sul tuo dispotico consenso
e gridi e temi, io ascolto e non tremo,
perso un applauso, rimane il sogno.

Il mio nome?
sempre lo stesso,

Under this gray sky,
vanity nullifies the fire you have inside,
silence rolls on your despotic consent

and you shout “tell me your name if you haven’t lost it!”

I answer “my name is RESPECT!”

RESPECT
and it was not a gift, I ripped it off the wind
and then grown and cared for as a child
and you want to steal it from this destiny of mine,
under this gray sky.

and your absolute need to glue your words to my common sense.
No thanks.

I’ll remain alone, I remain silent,
wrapped in my jacket I’ll go out in the cold,
under this sky there is little time to wail in the wind.

silence rolls on your despotic consent
and you shout and fear,
I listen, not shiver
lost an applause, the dream lives on.

always the same.
